Crouton Music New Release

Crouton releases Telecognac’s Divorce:

In 1999, Telecognac recorded ‘Divorce’ for a split 12″ with Swans member Jarboe. Unfortunately, the label that was to release it folded before this could be realized. The music is an obvious segue between the groups 1997 s/t release of spoken word chamber music and their later, more electronified full-length ‘Memory.’ Filled with lush melody, the lineup for this music consisted of: Jon Mueller: voice, synth; Chris Rosenau: acoustic guitar, chimes; Katie Shumway: violin; Steve Heinrich: trumpet; Karl Paloucek: cello; and Eric Kowalski: electric guitar.
