New Hail Reviewed

The new release from Bob Drake and Suzanne Lewis is reviewed.

Hello Debris is the newest album by the formerly Denver-based duo of Susanne Lewis and Bob Drake. Lewis sings, plays guitar and keyboards, and wrote the songs, while Drake plays bass, drums, miscellaneous other instruments and recorded and mixed the whole thing. This is basically avant-garde pop music. All of the songs are short, almost all of them have lyrics with tuneful melodies and the instrumentation is standard for pop-rock music, but they’re skewed enough to make them oddly interesting.
