Event Details:

Venerable new music organization presents guest composer Elliott Carter, with guest artist Virgil Blackwell, clarinet. Works by Carter (USA, b. 1908) include Steep Steps (2001) for solo clarinet, and Hiyoku (2001) for two clarinets, plus other recent solo works and duos. This evening will commence with a screening of the 2004 documentary film A Labyrinth of Time, directed by Frank Scheffer.
