From NYTimes.com:

The Undead Music Festival exists to provide a collage of impressions collected on the fly. It claims no organizing principle other than the vitality of the music, most of which scans broadly as jazz: combo stuff, high-contrast and alert, shot through with forceful improvising. With shows in different pockets of the city each night, it’s not about a specific locale or scene, or isn’t supposed to be.
