Tim Daisy (drums, Chicago, Vandermark 5) and Patrick Breiner (Madison, saxophone, New Breed Quartet) will team up to open the night with a set of improvised duo set. This set will encompass everything from minimal clicks and chirps to raucous, fiery free swing.

Jaimie Branch Quartet

Jaimie Branch is a trumpeter interested in sounds. She lives in Chicago where she plays an active role in the creative music scene as a performer, recording engineer, and presenter.
