Friday, December 4th, at THE WAIL.

The group will be presenting new works by JP Jenkins and h. vergotis, and is comprised of many great local musicians. There will be a potluck beforehand ( 530ish to 730ish ) and music will follow around 8. THE WAIL is located at 5135 NE 42nd ave., and is an all ages venue.

Chicago’s Anaphora Ensemble will be playing December 9th at 7PM in Curtiss Hall (410 S. Michigan Ave, 10th Floor) showcasing works by local composers Kirsten Broberg (of dal niente), Marcos Balter, Kyong Mee Choi.

A new book on Anthony Braxton is out.
